This is us drunk on a winery tour in Laguardia, in La Rioja, with cheese and chorizo in our pockets, and our first time travelling to Spain.
You do a very good impression of the tour lady. It rained heavily that day, I think. I remember seeing you take a photo of an old street, I think to show your dad. The winery used to be owned by a writer of fables, el fabulista, called Sanmaniego. Here is one of his fables!
A painted well once caught the sight of a Dove with thirst oppressed; she dove toward it in reckless flight, and struck the board — her breast. The blow was death; she fell and lay, her folly swiftly ended. So man, by passion led astray, to ruin is descended.
