On this day, Kitty and I visited the GAME ON exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. It was silly to go on a Sunday in August, although we realised this too late, because it was super busy! But on second thought, as Kitty has observed, the business did mean we got to see waves of small children having tons of fun playing old videogames: Pong!, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Sonic... anything! They didn't care how old or cranky the games looked, the kids were captivated anyway.

As for ourselves, we got to play loads of stuff too. The most memorable, says Kitty while she plays Animal Crossing on her Switch, were, to begin, Pong (which I won easily), Pac-Man (which we were terrible at), Tetris (which I really enjoyed!), Contra (famously featuring record-breaking musician Tommy Tallarico), the Virtual Boy (first ever VR headset!!!), a car game with a super cool and bizarre PS1 controller, the name of which we can't remember)... and many more.
BUT! The BEST ones, the most...nay, MOST memorable, the games that completely changed our lives forever and ever, the winners of the prestigious MARTIN & KITTY BEST EVERRR!!! AWARDS are.... VIB-RIBBON AND PARAPPA THE RAPPER!!!
